Lifted House is dedicated to two things...
Customized music for companies looking for unique solutions to brand their business trough the music media.
Signing unique artists and develop them for the international market.
Lifted started out in 1992 with focus on the American market that had yet to discover the many facets of the growing electronic music scene. Putting more than 300 compilations on the US market in 7 years was a rather immaculate result from a label located as far away as Denmark but 1999 opened up an even more remarkable door. Lifted House acquired the rights to remix the relatively unknown Bob Marley track "Sun Is Shining" and after some time in the studio the producer Funkstar De Luxe got remix right. The single blasted charts worldwide and has sold more than 1,2 million units. With the new millennium kicking in Lifted House decided to extend their business and service companies who wanted to brand themselves through music media. The new effort quickly turned into a success and our client list in the "customized" menu reflects the resources and power we put into it. In 2003 we decided to work with only a few artists and signed Ida Corr and Camille Jones. The dedication was a direct result from being tired of other labels signing artists by the dozen and only performing on a low percentage of them leaving the rest in despair and giving the music industry a bad reputation. 2005 saw the first album releases locally from the two artists and a plan to open up the international markets was in place. The hard focused work paid off when both Camille and Ida hit the Top 10 sales chart in United Kingdom in 2007. The rest of the world soon followed and both of them have had a great career since and released more albums and hit singles. In 2009 we opened up for signing new artists and we welcomed Lyck and JulieAnn to our family. Both artists are set for album releases in 2010 and in addition to their own artist career they both successfully write for other artists. In addition to the high profiled artists we also work the artists Naim, ReUnited, Out Of Sight and Gauzz whose audience is different in both size and shape but not less interesting. Always aware that “the times they are a changing”!

We stretch far to give our clients what they are looking for and give the word "customized" a real meaning. If someone wants a CD case made of wood, we carve it; If they want one of steel, we mold it - nothing is impossible. Pressing CD's is a complicated affair with many things to be taken into consideration like packing, royalty, mechanical royalty, track clearing, wrapping etc. In order for our clients to better understand the total costs, we operate with a flat rate offer of minium 1,000 copies (first pressing) and re-orders of minimum 500 copies.
